Ken Sharpe has been the Managing Director of various companies in the commercial glasshouse business for more than 50 years, building, repairing and refurbishing for many hundreds of satisfied customers across the UK and Ireland. We work with everyone from garden centres, nurseries, colleges, local councils and more.
New Century is one of the few UK builders that specialises in the refurbishment and rebuilding of second hand glasshouses. We like to think we are doing our bit for the environment by recycling the steel and aluminium materials, but it is also a cost effective solution for many of our valued customers.
A large part of our work today is replacing old glass walkways and canopies with new safe composite materials – ideal for shops, cafes and walkways. We also maintain and repair existing glasshouses. This could mean replacing a few broken panes or installing wooden doors and runners.
